Concrete Paper must be understood in its state of ongoing thematic research. Each element presented here is paradoxically weightless yet solid as the materiality of the paper is challenged & reinforced by folding techniques. These works are mobile rather than static, easily adjustable in length and adjacency allowing for objective altered perspectives. The installation featured a frame-by-frame narrative sequence through a progression from 1st to 4th floor. As one navigated through the work individual experiences permitted a variety of interpretations of scale.
Within the context of the architectural concrete shell, we redefine the paradigm of typology, inspiring an intimate relationship with this new scale of architecture.
Here any space can be transformed into place.
