G8A Architects design proposal, to renovate a river front hotel in Ho Chi Minh city, aim to transform an old generic glass box typology into a unique and immersive urban re-sort.
Central to our design concept is the idea of opening the hotel to its surroundings, fostering a strong connection between guest and the vibrant cityscape. We introduced the “City Rooms”, a series of new spaces designed to be flexible, adaptable, that seamlessly integrate nature, culture, and the city energy into the hotel experience. They are strategically positioned throughout the hotel, offering guest the vibrant streetscape at ground floor, panoramic views of Saigon River at 8th floor, and a sky bar looking at SaiGon iconic skyline.
These City Rooms act as a bridge between the hotel interior and the busting urban environment.
