The renovation of a school in Bangkok posed a unique challenge of re-branding the space and create an environment that fosters learning, creativity, and collaboration between children and the education team.

The entrance has to be a very iconic element, threshold of the school with a “big door” and a “small door.” This enabled to create a distinct memory in the minds of the children, as they would pass through the doors on their way to and from classes. The entrance design aimed to be grand, bold, and memorable, just like the education they would receive within these walls.

The common areas of the school were designed to be spontaneous and energetic. We used a vibrant palette of green and blue, to evoke the bustle of the kids movement. While the classrooms were designed to be calm and focused, with a neutral color palette, wooden surfaces, and furniture. The contrast between these spaces helped to express the different stages of school life and encourage students to transition with ease.

Our vision was to make learning a fun and memorable experience for children and we believe that we accomplished this successfully. The renovation transformed the old school into a vibrant and inspiring space that would inspire students to learn, collaborate, and create. With the iconic entrance, contrasting palettes, and the focus on natural beauty, we created a space that was memorable, functional, and unique.
