Obeying the local construction regulation, the project is a volumetric alternative reacting to orientation and great views. The living rooms’ neat orientation, the changeover between the full and empty of the white houses, and the depth of the terraces oriented south to the Mont Blanc ensure the living areas a total privacy.
As white and red concrete monoliths, these accommodations offer strict lines, like the way the railway façade is perforated by a vast opening formed by the windows’ gathering. It results a great formal abstraction and a scale alteration through sculptural distorting process that makes accommodations look like «Toblerones», anti-tanks barrieres in the Swiss landscape.
