Geneva Palexpo is one of the most important exhibition venues in Switzerland. It offers a modular exhibition surface of more than 100’000m2 and regularly hosts prestigious exhibitions such as the Salon de l’Automobile, The International Motor Show, The Equestrian International Competition, Telecom or the SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie).

The transformation project ensures a new coherence to the existing campus. The project focuses on a new flexibility for the exhibition halls, allowing the use of each in a more individual way. It also redefines a main referential distribution boulevard connecting all programs of the exhibition centre. This new space gives a clear orientation to the public, resisting the disorientation which comes with the complexity of the circulation system. The “Boulevard” enables the hosting of new programs such as restaurants or other services, as well as the extension of exhibitions or shows.

The project is complimented by the creation of new conference rooms in close relation to the exhibition halls. This new facility corresponds to recent demands. The transformation also includes the renovation of the Congress Centre, which is translated into a 2’500 seats Conference Centre. A redefinition of the spaces is also developed.
