The project included new construction of 10 housings and transformation of a building with four units. The main objective of the energy concept is to get the MINERGIE. This high standard of energy allows substantial energy savings and lower operating costs and maintenance. This is a step towards respect for the environment. The units are traversing, the day parts are mostly oriented to the south and the north for night part.

The exterior building envelope is thermally efficient; it has reinforced insulation and enables a minimization of heat loss through the envelope. The composition of the facades (concrete-insulation-ventilated wood siding) is ideal, high thermal inertia due to the concrete ensures a stable climate in the apartments (warm in winter and cold during the summer).
