The project is situated in a very important central location of Hanoi, where there are strips of buildings dedicated to important activities such as The Department of Defence, The Thang Long Citadel Heritage Site and the central headquarters and embassies. Ba Dinh Square-Bac Son heightens the formality of the area with political activities nationally and internationally. Historical and political space intersect at No.18 Hoang Dieu, deemed to become a public open space of outdoor activities: recreation spaces, meeting spaces, exercise areas and playgrounds for children.

The Archaeological Park of 18 Hoang Dieu has 4 entrances to welcome visitors from all directions. Following the orientation of cultural and tourism development of the city, the main gate will be placed on Hoang Dieu Road in order to connect directly to the Imperial Citadel, creating a cultural and historical ensemble.

The park has one access to connect directly with the exhibition area in the basement of the National Assembly. This exhibition tunnel also allows underground access to the Citadel.
