With the theme “Architecture Saving OUR World”, the annual Singaporean event Archifest proposes to examine not grand architecture or the magnificence of architecture, but new ideas and responsible designs that benefit our ecology and humanity – climate change, public health, social equity and cultural continuity.

G8A strives to honor architectural narratives proper to place, with an overarching philosophy valuing collaboration and knowledge transfer. For the exhibition Architecture Saving OUR World, we present five projects, each born from vastly different contexts and conditions, they lead us on a tale spanning from South East Asian metropolises to the foot of the Swiss Alps. Five projects;  GreenRidges – Singapore, The Twin-Lah – Geneva, The Bridge – Hanoi, Neu Oerlikon – Zurich and Jakob Factory – Ho Chi Minh City each giving G8A the opportunity to form a unique architectural narrative.

Hosted by the Singapore Institute of Architects the online exhibition is visible from the 25th of September until the 31st of October, 2020.
